The Marijuana Opportunity, Reinvestment, and Expungement Act (The MORE Act) is expected to be voted on sometime this September and may lead to the federal decriminalization of cannabis in the US. If passed into law the MORE Act would be the biggest step forward on marijuana policy in America’s history. It would end the federal criminalization of cannabis by removing it from the list of controlled substances, eliminating related criminal penalties.

This will provide even more opportunities for emerging markets in supporting community programs for job training, health education, and legal aid, among other services.
